When Patriot GoTravel America is purchased for minimum 3 months initially, clients may choose to renew coverage for as little as 5 days at a time. This will allow clients to only pay for coverage they need. Renewals can be performed Online.

For paper based application, minimum period of renewal is 1 month.

Total period of coverage for Patriot GoTravel America cannot exceed 2 years.

Please note that this is a renewal of policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in previous months, it will not be considered as a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered as a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.

Every time you renew the policy, insurance company charges $5 renewal fee for renewals less than 1 month, in addition to the premium. Therefore, it is a good idea to not pay in too many installments if you already know that you are going to stay for a few months. Whether you buy in small durations or for many months at a time, total premium rate remains same, deductible is also only once per year. Only difference is $5 fee per renewal.
