What features would you like in a life insurance policy? Would you like guarantees, premiums that fit your budget, flexible features that can adapt as your needs change and your family or business grows, or perhaps the ability to build up tax-deferred cash value?

With the variety of policies available from Prudential Financial's family of companies, you can find one that satisfies your needs, goals, and budget.

Term Life Insurance
Term policies can meet a wide variety of business and personal needs and often provide the most coverage for your premium dollar for set periods of time. Whether you want to supplement your existing coverage or simply purchase insurance to meet a specific need, Prudential's term policies have the flexibility to meet your needs.

Both of our term insurance policies, issued by Pruco Life Insurance Company, or by Pruco Life Insurance Company of New Jersey in New York and New Jersey, are competitively priced and can be converted to permanent insurance.
  • Term Essential®– offers guaranteed level premiums for 10, 15, 20, or 30 years (premiums increase annually thereafter and are not guaranteed) and the ability to convert to permanent insurance until the earlier of the end of the level premium-paying period or age 65, but never less than 5 years.
  • Term Elite®– offers guaranteed premiums, which are level for the first 10, 15, or 20 years and increase annually thereafter, and enables you to convert your term policy to a permanent life insurance policy until you turn 65 or you’ve owned the policy for five years, whichever is later. It also offers a credit toward your permanent policy’s first-year premium if you convert within the first five years.
