FEATURES
Fully Guaranteed Level Premiums1
With Term Elite you choose the level premium period you’d like—10, 15, or 20 years. After the level premium period, premiums increase annually and are guaranteed to age 95 (80 in New York).

Conversion Privilege
This feature allows you to convert your term policy to a permanent one without taking another medical exam. Term Elite allows this anytime throughout the life of the policy until age 65 or five years after issue, whichever is later.

Conversion Privilege
If you convert your policy within the first five years after issue, a premium credit will be applied to your permanent policy’s first-year premium—a convenient way to ease into permanent insurance payments.

Payment Options
You can choose the method and timing of billing you prefer:
  • Annual
  • Semiannual
  • Quarterly
  • Monthly, via automatic electronic funds transfers from your checking account

Optional Riders and Benefits
The following riders and additional benefits are available to help you tailor your policy to your specific needs. Some riders may require additional premiums, and some are not available in all states.

Living Needs BenefitSM: A long illness that precedes death can be financially devastating to loved ones. For no additional premium, this valuable rider can help relieve some of the financial strain by enabling you to receive all or part of the death benefit while you are alive if you become terminally ill, are permanently confined to a nursing home, or need a vital organ transplant and meet certain criteria.2 (The rider form number is ORD 87241.) This rider is not available in Massachusetts.

Children’s Protection Rider: You can provide temporary insurance protection for your eligible children. The insurance coverage available with this rider offers level premiums, a level death benefit, and an option to convert to any of our permanent policies up to five times the rider's face amount, without evidence of insurability. This option may be exercised at specified times, until a child reaches age 25. This rider can help them begin their own life insurance program. This rider is available for an additional premium. (The rider form number is VL 182 B-2000.)

Waiver of Premium: A disability can put a financial strain on everyone’s budget. To ensure your policy will not lapse during a period of disability, this benefit waives your premium payments should you become totally disabled under the terms of your policy. This benefit is available for an additional premium. (The rider form number is VL 100 B-2000.)

Accidental Death Benefit: An accidental death can be especially devastating. To help your loved ones, this rider will pay your beneficiaries an additional death benefit if your death is accidental as defined in the rider. This benefit is available for an additional premium. (The rider form number is VL 110 B-2000.)

Part of a Rock-Solid® Tradition
Term Elite is issued by members of the Prudential Financial family of companies. Today, Prudential Financial helps meet the insurance and financial security needs of millions of people worldwide. You can rely on us to deliver on our promises.

1 The company reserves the right to charge the maximum premium beginning with any premium re-determination date. The premium at re-determination date, if less than the maximum premium stated in the policy, is not guaranteed beyond the current re-determination period. Also, the premium at re-determination date is subject to the company’s expectations as to one or more future cost factors including persistency, expenses, mortality and interest. Any increase in premium will not result in an increase in your benefits or cash values, if any, or other non-forfeiture values.

2 Policies must meet certain face amounts requirements before the Living Needs Benefit will be added to the contract. When a claim is paid under this rider, a reduction for early payment is applied and a $150 processing fee is deducted. Each additional policy used for the same claim will have a processing fee of up to $150. Receipt of accelerated benefits may be taxable; assistance should be sought from a personal tax advisor. Receipt of accelerated benefits may affect eligibility for public assistance programs. The Living Needs Benefit is not available in Minnesota to new purchasers over age 65 until the policy has been in force for one year, and the nursing home option is not available in New York or the District of Columbia. Term policies in Oregon must have waiver of premium to have Living Needs Benefit. Living Needs Benefit is not available in Massachusetts.

3 Face amounts are subject to our retention limits. Face amounts in excess of our retention limits will be considered, on a case-by-case basis, subject to the availability of reinsurance.
